YMCA Lifeguard Certification Course 
Tuesday, August 28 2012 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
The course will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Participants must be age 15 or older and be able to pass pre-course swimming requirements in order to participate. Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, participants will learn patron rescue and surveillance skills, first aid, CPR, and AED. The course will provide a 2-year certification. Participants must be present for entire course and pre-registration is required.
Community members interested in childcare or an aquatics profession is encouraged to attend, but everyone is welcome.
